Hi, my name is Rhalen Mertz. I have been an avid fisherman and boater my entire life. I have owned several fishing and water sports boats, pontoons, and houseboats. My wife and I have renovated three houseboats and we currently reside in one part-time. With my kids grown, and retiring from the mining industry in 2020, I decided to pursue my passion of being on the water as much as possible. 
 
In 2021, I attended 180 hours of the Yacht & Small Craft Surveying (YSCS) course at the Chapman School of Seamanship. In 2022, I continued my education with 33 hours of The Fundamentals of the Damage and Claims Survey at the Chapman School of Seamanship. I am a current member of the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC). I am committed to providing my clients with thorough inspections and detail-oriented reports.
